Innovation and Creativity Workshops for students in Grades K-12

Classes are fun, productive, and interactive. They focus on building skills and confidence through scaffolded instruction in arts areas that appeal to kids. Student Programs are also available as one-time workshops for School Groups, Scout Troops, Youth Groups, and others.

Class offerings are tailored to support the needs of each school site.

School Workshops

  • The Adjudicated Performing Ensemble Workshop

    includes a professional critique of the ensemble, targeted coaching, and a video and/or audio recording of final product. This workshop is perfect for school bands, orchestras, choirs, dance teams and theatre troupes who want to take their performances to the next level.

  • The Creative Careers Workshop

    aims to introduce students in grades 8-12 to the latest careers in the arts. During this full day workshop, students will experience first-hand a variety of jobs in Music, Theatre, Dance, Visual Arts, and Arts Technology.

  • The Integrated Arts Workshop

    provides non-arts classes with valuable cross curricular connections to the arts. Each workshop is custom tailored to fit the needs and curriculum of the participants. Workshops may include The Science of Sound, Music of Social Justice, Probability and Statistics and Musical Identity, Understanding Literature through Playwriting, and Dance in Motion.

  • School Group Classes

    Schools with limited or no arts offerings may partner with Sol•Vía for their arts education needs. Classes are scheduled 1-2 times per week. Contracted schools provide the students and space while our knowledgeable and NCLB qualified instructional team does the rest.
